Six years ago today, I had my very first date with this amazing woman who somehow agreed to let me pester her into saying yes. We met a little over six years ago, and on this day, we sat across from each other at in Westlake and ended up talking for hours.
What struck me most was how natural it felt — we talked about God, our faith in Christ, the things we had in common, even our family histories tracing back to neighboring towns in Italy. It was unexpected, refreshing, and exactly what my heart needed at that time, especially while I was still processing the loss of my dad.
There have definitely been challenges along the way, but we’ve faced them together. That night was the best surprise of my life and the beginning of something greater than I ever imagined. The best decision of my life was marrying her, but that first date will always be one of my favorite days — the day God started writing our story.

I’m a little late on this post but it’s been 5 years and i wanted to do it justice. The truth is I didn’t think someone like Kristin existed. someone who could put up with me and yet bring me closer to God, someone who could be my best friend and still make me nervous as I am still constantly crushing on her. She challenges me and yet selflessly serves me. She helped me heal countless wounds and allowed me in to help her. It’s been 5 crazy years since we began dating and I feel so incredibly blessed to have this Proverbs 31 woman as my wife. I Love you Happy Anniversary ❤️❤️😘
