Today we are featuring two very different albums from a similar time. 1988 diamond Sun from Canadian popster’s glass tiger and LA‘s finest lions and ghosts from 1989 their second LP wild garden KJ ON played Lions and ghost first album velvet kiss lick of the lime constantly. This one wasn’t as strong that has a few great songs on it. Sadly, this was the end of the band. glass tiger on the other hand as a guilty pleasure Group often compared to Duran Duran this Canadian Group was produced by Bryan Adams collaborator Jim valance and came a year after Bryan Adams took a different direction with his album into the Fire taking a more mature songwriting route glass tiger took a similar turn and left the pop world and created a contemporary masterpiece, highlighted by the title track a tribute to the native tribes I assume in Canada. Both CDs long out of print, but KJON is spinning them this week. You can’t find either one on Spotify.
