𝑾𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒆 the addition of 𝑬𝒎𝒊𝒍 𝑺𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒉 as the new wide receivers coach for the Tift County Blue Devils football team. Coach Smith brings a wealth of experience both on the field and from the sidelines, and we are confident that his expertise will be invaluable to our program.

𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒓:

𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍:Coach Smith hails from Gadsden, Alabama, where he was a standout four-year starter at Etowah High School. During his senior year, he recorded 27 receptions for 430 yards and six touchdowns, earning a spot on the Class 5A All-Region 6 football team.

𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆: He continued his athletic career at Georgia Southern University as a wide receiver. Over multiple seasons, Coach Smith demonstrated consistent performance, participating in numerous games and contributing significantly to the team's offense.

𝑪𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆: Prior to joining Tift County High School, Coach Smith served as an offensive assistant and wide receivers coach at Georgia Military College. In this role, he was instrumental in developing the skills of the wide receiver corps, focusing on route running, catching techniques, and game strategy.

𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅: Coach Smith earned his degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Nutrition from Georgia Southern University. He is also a proud father to his daughter, Neriya Grace Avraham.

We are excited to welcome Coach 𝑬𝒎𝒊𝒍 𝑺𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒉 to the Blue Devils family and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our student-athletes both on and off the field.
