Sus shows eran impresionantes, como también es impactante la cantidad de gente que sigue al Indio Solari Oficial y a los Redonditos de Ricotta sin que se plegaran al circuito musical y sus exigencias. Son estos rebeldes músicos los que le conservan su autenticidad.

Se ha mudado "al otro barrio" el músico argentino Carlos Alberto Solari, mejor conocido como Indio Solari.
No tuve oportunidad de conocerlo en persona, lo cual no me impide valorar lo que significa su trabajo artístico, su postura independiente, su compromiso con la memoria y su ascendente infinito que atraviesa generaciones de argentinas y argentinos, va mi saludo solidario y mi afecto para ellos y ellas, para su familia y amigos.

We can’t think of an act that more encompasses the Boonerang spirit than Liam Purcell & Cane Mill Road.

Here’s the thing – anyone who has spent time in Boone over the last decade surely knows about Liam Purcell & Cane Mill Road. A band born right here in the Blue Ridge, they have broke ground in the Americana music scene with a bluegrass sound that honors traditional roots, while also pushing the progressive boundaries of the genre.

Frontman Liam Purcell is a Boonie through and through, born in Deep Gap just down the road from Doc Watson. Name a venue, brewery, or festival in the region and he’s played there; heck, he’s probably even ran sound for them. Over the past several years, Purcell has graduated from Berklee, spent a stint living and recording in Nashville, cleaned up on the competition circuit (including a trifecta instrumental sweep at Rockygrass), and toured nationally. But just recently, Purcell has done the very thing this festival celebrates – he has Booneranged back to the place he calls home, and the timing couldn’t be better.

Back in 2022, Liam Purcell & Cane Mill Road delighted the audience on the South Depot Stage at Boonerang. And as epic as that performance was, we know that Liam Purcell and the Jones House are two spirits that are deeply intertwined – and it’s only fitting that Liam Purcell & Cane Mill Road close things out there on the festival Saturday!
