I know it’s the end of the day, but I decided to not wait for tomorrow…..I had to take a moment and acknowledge the power of today, July 3rd, 2025, which is my beautiful home, the Virgin Islands Emancipation Day. 🇻🇮✨

Today holds deep roots, truth, and triumph for us. As a Caribbean woman, a cultural keeper, and community advocate, I honor the strength of our ancestors and celebrate the freedom they fought for. 🔥💪🏾

This day is a reminder that our liberation is sacred, ongoing, and worthy of being honored, not only on paper, but in purpose.

🌺 And in honor of our lovely Virgin Islands Emancipation Day, I’m releasing a gift for YOU. 🤸🏾‍♀️🥳

🌺✨ First and Always To God Be the Glory! ✨🌺
Yesterday was nothing short of beautiful. Cramps and all, Mother Nature tried me… but baby, we showed up and showed out! 💃🏾

To the people shouting my name from the crowd you have no idea how much that meant to me. After a couple years away from the scene, I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know if we’d be remembered…..if folks would still love and want what we do, but you showed us so much love. The response was overwhelming in the best way. Thank you for feeling us. Thank you for seeing us. We felt the energy. And we’ll never forget it. ❤️💛💚🖤🤎

From St. Thomas 🇻🇮 to St. Kitts 🇰🇳 to the heart of Toledo, we brought the culture the Caribbean way no brakes, all vibes. 🌊🔥

To my family ✨ Mammy, LykkleMan, Nieca, KitaBunk, EnvyLicious, and BigBabyVon.....thank you for being my heart and hands, for prepping, participating, pushing me and yourselves, and praying me through.

On Juneteenth, Diamond Butterfly Entertainment, LLC returns with rhythm, resistance, and reverence. This full-bodied Caribbean offering blends carnival heat, youth power, and crowd connection all in one flowing celebration of our Diaspora.

We’re honored to bring the culture fully to the Toledo's Juneteenth Celebration , invited to uplift the roots and rhythms of St. Thomas 🇻🇮 & St. Kitts 🇰🇳, in honor of both freedom and heritage.

🌟 We move for our ancestors.

This was so much fun🤩🥳 I hope you enjoy watching this short clip as much as we enjoyed speaking and teaching! Oh, and we took them some homemade fried plantains! 😁😋

When culture calls, we answer with rhythm. 🥁✨ In March of 2025, I had the honor of sharing a piece of my soul with a beautiful group of Girl Scouts for World Think Day (Culturally focused) so of course I decied to bring St. Thomas to their souls. 🇻🇮💃🏾

We introduced them to the sacred sway of Bamboula. That's where our hips speak history and movement is medicine. With my two daughters by my side as co-teachers, we reminded them (and ourselves) that power, pride, and purpose live in every step we take.

Huge love to the organizers for inviting us to share the beat of our ancestors. This is just the beginning... Bamboula Afro-Dance registration opens soon. Let’s get ready to shake together. 🔥🌀
