mily: This might be one of my most vulnerable post l've ever made. This comment has been on my mind. No, it didn't hurt my feelings but it made me wonder why WOMEN are so judgmental of other women's bodies? Why no one ever comments on the man's body and their changes? It's always the women who need to bounce back immediately.
My husband and I fell in love with each other. Not with our looks but with our hearts. We made a commitment to grow old together. To love each other through every phase of life and that includes body changes. We love each other more today than the day we met.
Do you think Kobe has ever once told me I need to look like the "emily he first met" if anything he tells me "your losing too much weight babe"
The way women body shame other women is disrespectful, disgusting and down right mean. Our bodies GROW humans.
WE grow them, WE feed them and we do what needs to be done to raise them.
Does that mean losing ourself along the way? Yes.Learning to love our bodies again? Yes.
Mentally struggling because we do it all? Yes.
All women are different.We grow babies differently.We age differently.We are not the same and that's what makes us unique.We should be each others cheerleaders not haters.Our bodies are enough💖
