Good evening beautiful people from the Haslett Committee!

We hope everyone are in great spirits, in great health, & staying warm in this chilly weather.

This post is for all women. There will be an all women’s sweat hosted at Haslett Basin this coming weekend.

When: December 6th
Time: 1pm
Where: Haslett Basin

Details are as follows:
•No moon / modest dress (skirt if possible)
•Potluck style- bring your favorite dish.
•Children welcome to come with parents
•Significant others are welcome to come drive us home they will be asked to stay up on top till sweat is over.
•Bring a friend that can use prayers.

Please come and join us tomorrow to learn a little bit about the history of the Haslett Basin Band of the Holkoma Mono Bear Clan and the youth group that experienced history and different ceremonies that they enjoyed participating in and the teachings that they learned.

Hey everyone!

We hope y’all are enjoying this beautiful weather!! We wanted to invite everyone who would like to join us to a premiere documentary showing called “A Land Forgotten” produced by ICSI youth. They’ve had the opportunity to join us at Haslett for their experiences & would love to share their stories & experiences with you followed with a panel discussion after showing.

When: November 11, 2025

Hello everyone!

We hope all is well, in great health, & in great spirits. October is here! You know what that means- ceremony time!

As questions have risen since the fire, as of today, we have gotten confirmation that the roads are open. With that being said, please join us for fall gathering, dates ranging from October 13th - 19th. Please refer to itinerary posted below.

All fasters who are planning to fast, elders do please request you to be there Monday to start preparations early morning next day.

Also another announcement we do ask to PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN UTENSILS, CUPS, & PLATES. Also there will be a small raffle on grounds. Pictures will be posted later.

For all who are concerned & reaching out with questions about Haslett.

There are now spot fires there & in surrounding areas. Haslett is predicted to be engulfed overnight. It is marked 2.5 miles from grounds but with surrounding spot fires, there’s no telling. We will keep everyone updated as much as we can. Please stay tuned for all updates.

All events for September have been cancelled. We will post again with further updates for October gathering.

Today, Haslett council had the opportunity to be able to tour the base camp for Garnet Fire & sit in with personnel during meeting. We are truly blessed & grateful to have this opportunity to get a better understanding about the Garnet Fire.

We hope all is well & in great spirits. Haslett board wanted to send an update for everyone to let y’all know about all events coming up:

Sept 19-21: Day of the Dead ceremony
Sept 28: Women’s Sweat & Drum Group
October 13-19: October Gathering

We wanted to inform everyone that due to the Garnet Fire no one is allowed back on grounds, so as of now events are on hold & going by ear. We will continue to send updates as we get them. So please watch out for any updates that will be posted on Haslett’s page.
