Between the Acid Rain and mutant Cloud Hoppers, it was raining points for John Brissie on UMI's 1982 shooter Cloudburst for the Commodore VIC-20 computer. Protecting his base with the tri-directional neutron tank, John blew away the invaders and clinched a record score of 16,530 points, beating the previous high score by 3k.

Guiding the Laser Base Defense unit, Germano blasted the launch bays to annihilate the smug invader onslaught for a new personal best of 25,240 points.

starsoldier1 rolled to a new high score on Namco's 1991 run-n-gun hit Rolling Thunder 2 for the Nintendo Switch. As fate would have it, the Geldra organization was back trying to take over the world, activating starsoldier1's run at the Last Stage Master Challenge where he pulled off a new high score of 102,400 points.
