🌟 Connectedness is one of my God-given gifts 🌟
I’ve always felt a deep awareness that we’re not here by accident. The people we meet, the conversations we have, the doors that open (and even the ones that close)… they’re all part of a divine design.

God has given me the gift of connectedness — the ability to see purpose in relationships, to bring the right people together, and to help others recognize the bigger picture He’s painting in their lives.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the beautiful ways we cross paths with others. So I’d love to ask:

This past weekend, we honored the life and legacy of my friend Ettalois Johnson. (she’s in the front and center of this picture.)

This picture was taken in about 1993.

several people at the funeral spoke about Lois and how much she contributed to the lives of others and how she was the quiet person in the background and how she didn’t have to be in the spotlight and be receiving the recognition for whatever might be going on despite so much that she did over the years and it just reminded me that so many people have to be front and center taking all the credit for everything yet so many people contribute so much and make as much of an impact if not more and just are humbly there, surfing people, and serving God and it was just such a great reminder that I want to be like Lois the things that I want to for people are not to draw attention to myself, but to bring glory to God.

If you were blessed enough to know, Lois, you are blessed indeed!

And if you weren’t, I just pray you can learn something from this post to know that it’s not always about you. In fact it’s usually not.

For the mom with babies in her arms—
And the one with babies in heaven.
For the grandma who’s the glue.
For the moms doing it solo.
For the ones who’ve lost a child.
For the ones who’ve lost their own mom and feel that quiet ache every May.
For the women praying to become a mom—and wondering if it’ll ever happen.

For the stepmoms, bonus moms, mother-figures, and in-the-thick-of-it moms.
And for the moms in heaven, who left their love written all over us.

Today, we feel you.
We honor your strength and your softness.
We see your grief, your hope, your exhaustion, your heart.

You don’t need to hold it all together today.
You don’t need to feel grateful just because it’s Mother’s Day.

Three weeks ago, God closed a door— and opened one I didn’t even know I needed.

After 5 years with a company that I loved and products that I loved, too…I felt a clear call toward something, not out of fear or loss, but instead from alignment — from His direction.

I joined a company and a team with my values, my purpose, and I feel good about the products that I will be able to provide for the people who trusted me with their health.

Mental wellness and gut health have been a passion of mine and now I have more products that match my mission.

I mean, who doesn’t need improvement in Mood, Focus & Energy, Gut-brain health and Stress resilience?

It’s clean and it’s powerful and it’s changing lives —including mine!

This isn’t a restart - It’s a realignment.

I find comparison is the thief of joy.

A long time ago, one of my spiritual mentors shared with me that when I compared myself to others that I was questioning that perhaps God did not make me perfectly in His image.
and that has always stuck with me.

so the next time you think; I don’t like my nose, my hair is too thin, my hair is too thick, I wish my hair was straight, I wish my hair wasn’t gray, I wish I was thinner, I wish I was taller…. Fill in the blank…..whatever it is that you are wishing; JUST STOP 🛑 and thank God for making you unique! For giving you the gifts that only you have! For giving you the personality that attracts people to you!

You are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image! Will you remember that today?

I love you and so does He!

Long after people forget what you said they will remember how you made them feel!

Your energy, your smile, your integrity, your intention…. All of it…. It’s your calling card.

Mary Kay Ash always said people have a sign around their neck saying “make me feel important!”

and you know, sometimes what is not sad is louder than what is. Laughed out of conversations this week and you didn’t feel heard. I see you.

You’re important, you are worthy! It is separation season and God is preparing you!
