HELLO, OCTOBER! 🍂🎃🤎
It’s officially the first day of October, and Texas is kinda starting to feel like fall… you know, for about 20 minutes in the morning. 😂☕ Here’s hoping some REAL cooler weather finds its way to us soon!
But this October is extra exciting because…

Today’s pick-me-up is brought to you by HTeaO because… whew. 🥤😅
The last two weeks around here have been a time. First, our AC went out. We had someone come look at it, add Freon, and give us the dreaded news: there’s a leak and the whole system needs to be replaced. That little fix bought us about five days. 🙃
Thankfully, I found a new AC guy....shoutout to 904 HVACR Services LLC...today we’re finally getting a whole new system installed! 🙌❄️
Then last night, our entire town lost power for HOURS. Pitch black. No phone service. And did I mention HOT?! 😂🥵
So apparently adulthood is just replacing one expensive thing and immediately adding another to the list because… generator, you’re up next. 😂💸
For now, I’ve got my HTeaO in hand and we’re rolling with it. One thing at a time! 🤍

Lunch with one of my girls before the mum madness continues. 🥰🍽️
I didn’t pack lunch for work today since I had to leave early, so we’re taking advantage and grabbing lunch together at Hopdoddy Burger Bar before heading home to tackle the last of this week’s homecoming mums. 🎀✂️
Side note… whoever is responsible for scheduling homecoming games, we need to talk. 😂 Why does EVERY school seem to have homecoming the SAME WEEK this year?! Apparently Hell Week decided to come early for me this year. 😅
To all my fellow mum makers currently surviving on caffeine, ribbon scraps, hot glue, and very little sleep… I’m praying for us. 😂🙏🎀
