A Survivor of Genocide...the White German Shepherd Dog (WGSD) has been struggling to survive for nearly 100 years & we are doing our small part to help ensure people are presented with an opportunity to bring this majestic breed into their family!
As if they had not already established themselves as the bane of all things humane, it was Hi**er and his N***s that attempted to exterminate this breed. The N***s, including Hi**er himself, saw the white coat as an undesirable trait, and further assumed that the white coated dogs’ genes paled the darker coated dogs’ colors. With little knowledge of science, they blamed the whites for many diseases as well. Germany soon barred white German Shepherds from the conformation ring and the breeding pool. wgsdca.org (White German Shepherd Dog Club of America.)
If you are ever blessed with the opportunity of having a White German Shepherd choose you as its master, you will experience true love and loyalty. But please always make sure you are respect that absolute love. Think and plan ahead. What are you bringing this puppy into your life for, if it is for a pet do you have a home for the puppy if you pass before it does? Make sure this puppy loves the person(s) that may have to take care of your puppy when you are gone. They think pack (family). Your puppy is your child. :)
