Though I always recommend antivirus software, a Virtual Private Network (VPN) is essential as well. A VPN is about privacy and safety. It will mask your true location. The picture below is a screenshot from my own VPN. My location shows Boston, MA even though I am in the midwest. Ads and trackers? A thing of the past! 26k blocked in less than 24 hours. That is how much we are tracked in just our daily browsing.

I have a VPN on our desktop as well as my phone. Your information should remain as that, YOUR information, not for others to sell.
