-The Royals season is, for all intents and purposes, over as the calendar flips to June. It's not any one person's fault, but the lifelessness of this team has to fall at somebody's feet, and that somebody has to be manager Matt Quatraro
-The joyride that is the Kansas baseball season continues to the Super Regionals after the Jayhawks go 3-0, beating Arkansas twice, at Hoglund Ballpark over the weekend. Spencer was there to experience the wild scene live, we'll get his impressions as well as a look at how KU punched their ticket to the Supers - and we'll find out if those games will be in Lawrence, too
-It was a highly successful weekend for local athletes as the high school sports season concluded with three state championship trophies coming to Shawnee County
-NFL Insider Matt Verderame of Sports Illustrated joins the show

-The Royals split four games over the Memorial Day weekend, which is a disappointment given how much work they have to do to get back within shouting distance of the AL playoff race. Monday's game in particular was a difficult loss that offered more grist for the mill for fans fed up with manager Matt Quatraro
-Some good news for the Royals - the starting pitching is on a roll and Salvador Perez is starting to get hot. But will they ever beat the Yankees again?
-One of the best sports stories in the state this year continues as Kansas baseball wins the Big 12 tournament and will host a regional. We discuss what the achievement represents and take a broader look at what kind of success should be expected for KU's programs that aren't the revenue sports
