We often joke on the boat during Molokai to Oahu Paddleboard that the cameras never seem to do the channel justice. I thought to just pull wide for once. If nothing else it’s a fun game of “where’s Charlie Verco ?”. But what I think you might get a sense of is the sheer “vastness” of the channel of bones. There is so much water moving in all directions and Charlie is there, a dot, on a piece of foam riding bumps in the middle of nowhere. The amount of water moving in competing directions really rocks the boat here. And In the middle of all that chaos and beauty there is Charlie, and he is probably smiling
