Bo, my friend of fifty years, just gifted me 30 old Country Music albums; it’ll take me months to get all this vinyl on the air, but I’ll spin 4 today. Plus, cool old & new country, Connie Francis country, and a Conway Twitty album with a really creepy title!
It’s all at My Country Place Torrington Community Radio 89.8/105.1 FM WAPJ.org!

Join Mike Roots today for "Reggae Explorations" from 4-6pm on WAPJ Torrington Community Radio - www.wapj.org. With a mix of classic selections, deeper cuts, newer releases, and rare tracks- it's all here (even on vinyl in some cases). Sometimes there's a theme, sometimes not, but there is always an ultimate objective. The program as a whole is presented to bring encouragement and transcendent hope through discouraging times, light to pe*****te the darkness, and sense to an often senseless and cruel world- in short, to proclaim the gospel of Christ. If there's something you'd like to hear or just want to let us know you're listening, go ahead and post it below or send an email to [email protected]. Tune in and be refreshed!
