Hello, I need honest advice. During my wife’s pregnancy, I told her I wasn’t comfortable with a vagiñäl delivery because of what I’ve always believed about it. I thought she agreed, but when it was time to give birth, she chose that option because she was afraid of surgery. Since then, I’ve felt disrespected and distant. It has been four months, and I haven’t been close to her. Now her family is calling me unfair and heartless. I’m confused and still hurt. I need to understand—am I wrong for feeling this way and reacting like this?

Hey, I really need your honest opinion on something.

My grandparents left money for all of us to help us start our lives. But instead of giving me mine, my dad used it for his own investments. In the end, I only got about $3,000, while my siblings and cousins received much more.

Now he’s doing well for himself—he’s debt-free and even owns a home—while I’m still trying to find my footing. It’s been hard not to feel some type of way about it.

Because of everything, I decided to distance myself from him. He hasn’t been part of my life for years and has never even met my kids.

Recently, he reached out saying he wants to be involved in their lives. I told him I’m not comfortable with that, especially since he never made things right about the money. He said he doesn’t have it anymore.

My husband thinks I might be too harsh, but I honestly don’t know how to move past it.

Am I wrong for feeling this way?
