I'm sharing this from another photographer friend because it's spot on.

If you are a do-it-yourselfer when it comes to marketing your business and you look through some websites and find a template to use, one of the key things that made the sample look so good and yours so bad is the professional photos used to make the sample. Your cell phone photos or worse yet, some blurry photos that you stole off of some other website, will never look as good as they could have if you'd hired a photographer and/or graphic designer and used high-quality professional photos. There is a reason we charge for our work, it's to make a living and to make you look good. I take great pride in making the businesses I work with look their best.

Some of my images that are in the current issue of Wildfowl Magazine. My little brown dog Crosby has now been in 3 magazines and isn't even 2 years old, I'd say his future is bright!
