We have been traveling around the country since 1988, sharing the love of Jesus through music and song. As the Lord continues to open doors and to direct us to share His message of love and grace in song, our plan is to follow Him wherever He leads the way.
Our music is a blend of “mountain” and “folk” style gospel. We play traditional and Biblical
instruments such as the Bowed Psaltery, Hammered Dulcimer, Mountain Dulcimer, Mandolin, Zither, Banjo, Autoharp, Guitar, and Harmonica. We also sing the good old hymns of faith, more recent gospel songs and some songs that our family has written related to family values, the grace of Jesus, our Savior, and the love of God. Come and enjoy some folk mountain music and heart-warming stories designed to encourage and inspire.

We are grieving the sudden loss of our beloved Community Services Director, Sally Graves, on January 6, 2026. Sally was loved by many for her kindness, happiness, energy and life of service to community and family. To allow the store volunteers and staff time to grieve, we will suspend operations and close the store on this upcoming Tuesday January 13, 2026. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

A Memorial Service will be held at the Cumberland Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church, 123 Old Highway 56 (right over the road from the thrift store), Coalmont on SUNDAY, JANUARY 11, 2026 at 11 AM. Flowers can arrive at the church from 9 AM - 10 AM on Sunday, or between 2 and 4 PM this Friday afternoon.

The annual Back-to-School Bash will be Tuesday, July 22nd at Grundy County High School (flyer attached). We are currently collecting school supplies for the event. If you have already donated, thank you!

The following items are still needed:
Washable markers, highlighters, scissors, glue sticks, pencil sharpeners, colored pencils and note cards. If you would like to donate, please reach out to me via email and I will add you to the supply list.

Backpack prep will take place the day before the event, on Monday, July 21st at 9 am CST at Grundy County High School. Supplies may be brought to the prep day or dropped off ahead of time at the Grundy County Health Department. You may email me if you'd like to help with prep day.

Just a reminder that the county wide prayer meetings are still going on
This week, June 14th, the prayer meeting will be at the Plainview Community Chrch in Tracy City starting at 8:30 AM. People of all denominations are welcome and encouraged to come and help pray for Grundy County.
The 3 main topics of prayer are; addiction, poverty, and corruption, but requests of all kinds are welcome.
Remember, this is a weekly meeting at different area churches, so please come and help pray for our county.
