Ahoy WWC Shipmates,
We are just 2 weeks out from the WWC's flagship event - Boats on the Boardwalk in Traverse City MI. Jeff Rogers, Bob Shapton, Dennis Hansen, and others have been working behind the scenes to have this be a special event. There is still time to register your boat on our WWC Registration Portal, where you can conveniently pay online.

Each registered boat (not just the in-water boats) will receive a complementary WWC burgee flag with gold trim to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ACBS. Please specify in your registration if your boat has a straight (vertical) or raked burgee pole. Remember to include your boat's name in your registration, as there other surprise gifts for your swag bag - and we need that name soon! So get registered now! We currently have 28 registered boats, and have burgees for several more!
Bob and Mary Shapton have very kindly offered to host a picnic and cruise on Friday August 1st at their place on Lake Leelanau. It is also a great opportunity to see what Bob's been up to in his new Boat Restoration Shop, where all the magic happens! Contact Bob to get on the list so he have enough food and drink on hand. [email protected] The afternoon cruise will likely run up to Fishtown for ice cream and a walkabout.
Send an offering to your favorite weather gods for fair winds, blue skies, and a clear waters. Really hope to see some new faces and boats on the boardwalk this year.
