A gentle reminder...

If today gets difficult, remember the smell of coffee, the way sunlight bounces off a window, the sound of your favorite person’s laugh, the feeling when a song you love comes on, the color of the sky at dusk, and that we are here to take care of each other.

When things seem to be at their darkest, look around you. Think of a few good things, and be grateful that you are here, in this time, and that you get to experience them. Being grateful for life, for the small things, can change the course of your day.

I’ve reached a point in my life where fighting, hating, blaming, and holding onto pettiness just doesn’t matter anymore.

What I long for now is to live fully, with my heart open wide. I want to feel happiness in the simplest of moments, to be wrapped in love that’s real and deep.
