It is time to start making plans for your big day! If you're in the planning stages for your wedding day, I'd be happy to discuss your needs for your special day! My calendar for 2026 is filling up, and I’ve started to book days in 2027 and 2028.

With DJ Neilix Entertainment, you will get one point of contact for all of your needs for DJ/MC Services for your big day. I am the owner/operator of DJ Neilix Entertainment. With me, you get my personal attention to the details for your big day, and you know that any communications that we have leading up to planning your ceremony or reception are communications with the DJ who will be there the day of your wedding.

I don't have one "Standard playlist" that I use for every wedding. My selections are based on our communications leading up to your day, including a request list, a "DO NOT PLAY" list, and my experience of reading your guests and their responses to what I play.

I’ve been told by several of my past couples that I am very organized. That organization will help make sure that I get to your wedding on time and have all the equipment that I will need for your day, as well as backups. I will make sure that I have all of your music requests downloaded and ready to play.

I would love to be your DJ. I truly love what I do, and I strive to make every wedding I DJ special. This is your one chance to create a memorable day for yourselves and your friends and family. Everything I can do up to and including your wedding day is important to your overall experience. Your wedding day is the one day in your life that I can make an impact and help create memories for years to come.

No Requests!

Just kidding. As a DJ, I love taking requests from your guests. This does a couple of things for me. It lets me know that your family likes "Mountain Music" instead of "Macerena". It also sometimes helps me discover music I haven't heard before. My ear is always to the ground trying to find new music, but hearing what people are actually listening to from you and your guests helps me find new music all the time. I know a ton of music, but I don't know every tune ever made. When a DJ listens to you and your family and friends, a dance floor is more successful.

A request can be a double-edged sword, though. I always ask you for a DO NOT PLAY list. If a guest requests something on that list, I will not play that request. That is your wish for YOUR wedding day, and I will honor that wish and curate your playlist on the fly to fit your vision for your reception.
