Have you folks checked some of my AUSTIN, TEXAS fishing videos on the Channel recently?! If not, I am going to link EP 1 & 2 below:
EP1: https://youtu.be/2DDXaOPe_XU (Shoal Creek)
EP2: https://youtu.be/Vb5RSMrb_X0 (Colorado River & Waller Creek)
EP3 of this fishing adventure will drop on the Channel on MONDAY, June 30th. I have been dropping ONE AUSTIN, TEXAS LIFELISTING EPISODE on YouTube per week. This series will have a total of FOUR episodes with plenty of Lifers in it. π
A little background story on this series β fun fact of the day:
I originally shot these videos in May of 2024, about a year ago. I got some GREAT footage and BEAUTIFUL fish in different urban areas of Austin. The adventure itself was AMAZING. I loved everything about Austin, Texas: the fishing, the women, the food, etc!!!
The videos never got published on the YouTube Channel because I was truly burned out from the social media job then. I needed a little bit of TIME OFF from all the negativity on YouTube, FB, and IG. I took that time to CONTEMPLATE on what it means to be a content creator, what type of fishing content creator I want to be, what type of fishing contents I want to bring in the future, and what type of fishing community I want to build when it comes to my social media platforms.
Little by little, I implemented the changes with new goals in mind. And, here we are. Heh. π I have been back on the YouTube platform almost full time since the beginning of June, and we are still going strong with all the UPLOADS there.
I hope you folks get to enjoy watching this series as much as I enjoyed documenting it.
Moral of the story: never be afraid of taking a STEP BACK when it comes to your career, so that you can REEVALUATE your values and IMPROVE as an individual. I would also like to use this moment to give a BIG THANK YOU to all who followed me back then and still follow me nowadays. Remember: without you folks, there would be no EPF on social media. Your love and support are truly appreciated, and it motivates me to work harder each and every day.
