Sorry for the lack of uploads here on FB recently, folks — I have been exploring and fishing remote regions of Alaska with my parents.

The good news is that I caught a bunch of COOL LIFERS in different Alaskan cities and that the weather has been PHENOMENAL up here: no fog and no rain this entire week!!! The photo below was taken North of Hoonah, and it was a whooping 72F degrees type of day.

Once I am back from Alaska and the PNW (Pacific Northwest) next week, I will be posting more regularly here. Expect tons of fish/fishing photos coming soon...!!!

Instead of doing the "$20 monthly sticker packages" that I have been doing since January of 2025, folks now have the option of picking the stickers of their choice and doing a self check-out. We have stickers ranging from $2 to $4, SHIPPING FEE INCLUDED for all orders. Also, these stickers can be shipped internationally.

One of the biggest complaints that I got over the last few months was the limited payment methods, which included only Venmo or Paypal. The good news is that now you can purchase some stickers with credit or debit cards as well.

I appreciate everyone's love and support, and MANY THANKS to everyone who contributed to the NICARAGUA trip by purchasing one of my $20.00 sticker packages earlier this year. In this episode, I explored a set of ROCKY SHORES in the city of San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, with the objective of catching EXOTIC SPECIES OF FISH for my Lifelist. The whole 27 minutes video included not only the Mexican Hogfish below (Bodianus diplotaenia), but MANY OTHER cool LIFERS...!!! Make sure to click on the link above and watch it.

Nicaragua Lifelisting videos will drop every MONDAY or TUESDAY on the YouTube Channel until the end of September. The whole series will have more than 25 LIFERS in it — a combination of freshwater and saltwater species NEVER PORTRAYED on the Channel before! Stay tuned!!!

— LIFER SPOTLIGHT —

Today I am bringing you folks a photo of my LIFER Moorish Idol (Zanclus cornutus). This sample was caught on May 13th, 2023, from the North Pacific Ocean in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii. More precisely, it bit a piece of shrimp on a size 18 Mustad hook on a dropper-loop rig.

Many of you probably know this fish from FINDING NEMO. After all, the leader of the "TANK GANG" — GILL — was a Moorish Idol. 😯 Interestingly enough, this species is rather unique because it is sole member of its genus Zanclus. In fancier words, it is a MONOTYPIC species of fish.

Needless to say, this was one of my FAVORITE CATCHES from my 2023 Hawaii trip due to its unique body shape AND ITS BODY PATTERNS/COLORS. If you were to rate its beauty from ZERO to TEN, what rating would you give?! Comment below and let us know...!!!
