***ATTENTION*** Martins Ferry Residents: At 7:30pm (TONIGHT) Sunday 8.17.25 there will be a planned city-wide water shut- off / Water Plant shut down, while the water department replaces a valve to the main supply. A 48 Hour Boil-Order will be in effect once the water supply is restored. Expect brown colored water until the entire system has cycled. OV Mutual Aid Flood Assistance – Apply Now!

We’re giving $30,000 in direct aid to households impacted by the June floods. Homeowners and renters can apply. These funds will be given out in two phases.

💵 Amount per household:
• 1–2 people: $800
• 3+ people: $1,200

📅 PHASE 1: Apply by Aug. 24, 2025
Funds will be awarded by lottery after all applications are in. One application per household. Cash or VISA card available. If you are not selected in phase 1, you will be automatically eligible for selection in phase 2.

-If your primary living space was affected by either of the floods in June 2025, you are eligible for flood assistance. This is for homeowners and renters.
