Kim Hoholek Photography I've always enjoyed photography since I was little. My favorite books were of those with pretty pictures. National Geographic was my bible of study.

I would stare at them for long period of times while studying the composition and lighting of such.

Most people rush straight to the big attraction, but sometimes the real magic lies off to the side. On Saturday, I drove an hour north from my childhood home to wander around Bond Falls Scenic Area. Instead of joining the crowds at the main overlook, I slipped onto a quiet, lesser‑used trail and followed the Ontonagon River, curious about what secrets it might reveal.
