In tonight's Spotlight Episode, we welcomed Representative Haley Stevens, from Michigan's 11th Congressional District, running for US Senate. The episode was hosted by our CEO, Wally Jadan, at MEA TV-Radio Studios.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Haley Stevens and discuss her journey, which began in 2018 when she became the Congresswoman for Michigan's 11th District. She has been re-elected since then. We explored the details of a new bill that Haley introduced that aims at reducing food tariffs, a move designed to help families in Michigan afford food and alleviate the financial burden caused by rising food costs. In tonight's Spotlight Episode, we welcomed Mary Schutten Lawrence Technological University founding Dean of the College of Health Sciences. The episode was hosted at MEA Studios by our CEO, Wally Jadan.

We recently spoke with Mary about the College of Health Sciences, which is celebrating its first anniversary. The college offers a variety of programs, including Undergraduate, Graduate, Doctoral, and Certificate options in fields like Allied Health Sciences, Biology, Physician Studies, and Cardiovascular Perfusion. They also have Physician Assistant and Nursing programs, along with a newly introduced online Doctor of Health Sciences Research degree for working professionals. The college's mission is to cultivate compassionate healthcare professionals through transformative education, collaboration, innovative technology, evidence-based practice, and patient-centered care. In tonight's Spotlight Episode, we welcomed Erica Schlenker, DTE Energy Community Engagement & Outreach Program Manager, hosted by CEO Wally Jadan at MEA TV-Radio Studios.

Erica, a Michigan native, joined DTE in 2017 as a volunteer and has become a key figure in community engagement. She actively participates in local events to understand community needs and build strong connections.

DTE's four-point plan aims to enhance grid resilience, focusing on tree trimming, infrastructure updates, grid rebuilding, and smart technology.

Tonight, for a special Spotlight Episode, we hosted Dave Meador, Executive Director of the Detroit Regional Group and CEO of Trove Market, at MEA Studios with our CEO, Wally Jadan.

We had the chance to speak with Dave, who has 14 years of finance experience in the automotive industry with Chrysler Corporation and PwC. He holds an MBA and a BS in Accounting from Wayne State University and is a CPA.

As the father of a 29-year-old daughter on the autism spectrum, Dave has seen the challenges adults with disabilities face when seeking jobs. Awni shares his background and discusses the various organizations and foundations he has been involved with throughout his life, as well as his ongoing support for them. He and Wally address the division within the community, highlighting how, instead of collaborating, there tends to be fragmentation. However, they also note some positive developments due to universities and events that are fostering unity. Additionally, Awni reflects on his journey with the FBINCAA, describing his role as the liaison between the FBI and the broader community. They cover much more; you won't want to miss it!
