Meet Barbara - my foster babes 🖤

After being abandoned outdoors while pregnant, Barbara was found hurt and frightened, trying to survive completely on her own. Thankfully, help arrived just in time.

Now safe inside, she’s finally able to relax and experience love and comfort again. Even after everything she has faced, she is still incredibly gentle, affectionate and cuddly. She also has such a calm, loving nature about her.

She has been spayed, vaccinated (rabies & FVRCP), left ear tipped and is ready for a forever home where she will always be cherished and protected.

SALON SAFETY REMINDER ✨

• For safety and liability reasons, children must remain seated quietly with their parent or supervising adult at all times.

• Running, climbing, roaming the salon or touching salon equipment is not permitted.

• This policy applies to all guests and visitors. Failure to follow salon safety policies may result in the appointment being paused or canceled.

• At this time, we are not accepting new clients age 10 and under.

Cooler temps, dry indoor heat and seasonal changes can seriously zap moisture from your hair. If your hair has been feeling dull, brittle or thirsty - here are a few simple ways to help keep it hydrated:

💧 Use the right products
Heat protectants, lightweight oils and at-home masks can make a huge difference. Using the right products for YOUR hair matters and I carry products in the salon to help maintain healthy hair between visits.

🔥 Turn down the heat
High heat can strip moisture fast. Keep styling tools at a lower temperature and yes, this applies to your shower water too.

✨ Treat yourself (and your hair)
In-salon treatments are a great way to restore hydration and strengthen the hair from the inside out. Ask about adding one onto your next appointment for an instant boost.

Healthy hair doesn’t stop when you leave the salon and I’m always happy to help you find what works best for your hair!

This pantry was created as short-term community support so resources can stretch to help multiple families and pets in need.

Dry cat food will currently be distributed based on the number of cats being fed:

• 1–2 cats = 1 bag• 3+ cats = 2 bags

If available, up to two cans of wet cat food may also be given.

My hope is to eventually continue offering 24/7 access again, but that depends on the pantry being used fairly and responsibly by the community.

6 years ago, our world changed forever. And honestly… so did my life.

If you would’ve told me in 2020 that I’d be signing on the dotted line to open a salon - I never would’ve believed you.

Just weeks later, the world shut down. People were scared, getting sick, losing jobs and none of us knew what the future would hold.

I had no idea what was ahead for my business, my family or my life.

But somehow… here we are 6 years later.

My family is healthy. My businesses are thriving. And although those years challenged me in ways I never expected, they also made me stronger, wiser and even more compassionate.

This guest had been coloring her hair red at home and was ready to start the journey back blonde. But color corrections like this take time, patience and realistic expectations if you want to keep the hair healthy.

Red is one of the hardest pigments to remove from the hair, which is why I’ll always choose “slow and steady wins the race” over rushing the process.

THIS is the outcome of our FOURTH appointment together. Also… one day I’ll remember before pictures 😂
