Whew….. I have been a little MIA since July. From living out of 2 houses to moving years and years of belongings we have been busy. Today was floor day!!!

It is amazing what a little paint and trim detail can do. All items to complete this transformation were purchased from Lowe's Home Improvement. I will posting a video soon on how we used the same old brown and boring interior doors and gave them an updated look.

We are now in the home stretch. A bold wallpaper, dark paint, a wood plank ceiling and a stunning gold chandelier. Which paint color will it be? 🤔

Original plan was to remove the entire wall and replace with an island but after much thinking I did not want the house entirely open. My husband agreed with me on this one, so we just opened it up a little. And yes we will have beautiful wallpaper on this wall. 🤩

A quick little peek. Bedroom #1. Peep the doors, soon I will post a video of how we took the old original hollow interior doors from drab to fab. Not only did we save quite a bit of money but we elevated the space too. A win-win! 🤍

Who has paneling in their home?
My vision was to replace the dark paneling in the living room and the hall but my budget said otherwise. Luckily our paneling was rather smooth with minimal groves. It almost resembles a textured wallpaper. The color of choice was Swiss coffee by Benjamin Moore. The perfect warm white to use throughout the entire house for the ultimate cozy feeling.
