Here at the CLICKbranding HQ we've had our nose to the grindstone creating allllllll the digital assets for our marketing + sales funnel (yes, they're not the same thing).
Honestly, the list is EXHAUSTING!
I've spent the entire weekend... working on the email welcome sequence that we send out with our Podcast Baby ''How to Start Your Podcast 10-Step Checklist''....
If a copywriter/designer is about $100/hr then I'm saving our company $2,000--- which in all honesty is how much our last client paid for us to write their email sequence (and I spent more than 20 hours, lol)....
But here's the thing.... it's not just my TIME that's valuable or ''worth'' say $100/hr it's my YEARS and YEARS of marketing expertise, training + studying and KNOWING WHAT TO WRITE, HOW TO WRITE IT and hook up all the technical pieces. Some people have to hire 3 people to do this job!
So, if I were to write your email sequence (the one you've been meaning to do for years and are letting your leads slip thru the cracks) for $2,000 you, you might think ''Wow, that's a deal!'' and if you haven't tried to tackle this project yourself or been thru years of training yourself you might thing ''Wow, that's expensive''.
When I write your email sequence (and by your I mean our, hahah) it's so much more than what you think!
It's connecting your landing page to your form and tagging all your subcribers to know what list they're on. And, if you don't have a landing page, I'm designing that too. And maybe you need the PDF to send out to your new subscriber (b/c the one you designed in Canva or hired a fivver VA to do look like crap). And, you didn't know you needed a thank you/download page so I have to design that for you because if you sent peeople straight to your PDF they'll never find you in their inbox (made this mistake myself 3,000x).
I ended up creating 5 additional pages in kajabi that I realized I needed to optimize our funnel and so I could sprinkle strategic CTAs (call to actions) inside the sequence.
And your emails are just ONE itty bitty piece of your Marketing Pie. There are SO MANY moving parts that have to speak to each other (literally) AND to your listener/reader.
While I've been busting @$$ on the emails, Kirstin has been KILLING it designing our new landing + sales pages + fb ads and analyzing the data and heat maps... what? You didn't know along with being funnel designers we are in a 12-mo training to be funnel ENGINEERS? Yep!
Our next step is to finishing writing/designing our slide deck, getting feedback from our coaches.... and then launch emails for ourselves + our launch partners and scheduling and hosting JV masterclasses.
Our goal is to help 100 entrepreneurs launch their podcast this year (sooner than later)!!!!
