Sorry I couldn’t get loaves to everyone who responded!

Our first scam 😔. I got a message for an order of 4 sourdough loaves. I told the lady I could have them ready this evening. She said okay, 'How much?' I said $40, and these are our payment methods, etc. - payment at porch pick. I'll message you Monday. She said great, let me know your Zelle. I spent yesterday and today making them, and now I can't send any messages to her.

So long story short, I'm posting this because we have 4 sourdough loaves, still warm!, if anyone is in need of a loaf of bread tonight. They are $10 each. Our bread stand is at the front door (ignore our mess). Usual payment options are on the stand.

We have lemon blueberry sourdough loaves available. We usually cube this up and make it into an excellent French toast bake!

Our original sourdough loaf toasted, goes great with bacon, sausage and eggs balancing the richness with a tasty sourdough tang!

Each week, we’ll share a delicious recipe using our unique bread flavors and menu items. Get ready to bring our tasty creations into your kitchen and try something new!

OBM, Jalapeño Cheddar Sourdough Grilled Cheese with Avocado and Chipotle Aioli

Ingredients

For the Grilled Cheese:
- 2 slices of Jalapeño Cheddar Sourdough Bread
- 2 slices of sharp cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheeses like Monterey Jack for extra creaminess)
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (for grilling)
- Fresh cilantro leaves (optional, for garnish)

For the Chipotle Aioli:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1-2 teaspoons chipotle sauce (adjust based on your spice preference)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Make the Chipotle Aioli:
- In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lime juice, chipotle sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth. Adjust the seasoning to taste and set aside.

2. Prepare the Grilled Cheese:
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- While the skillet is heating, spread butter on one side of each slice of jalapeño cheddar sourdough bread.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, spread a generous layer of the chipotle aioli.
- Layer the cheddar cheese slices on top of the aioli, followed by the sliced avocado. Finish with another slice of cheddar cheese for extra gooeyness.
- Top with the second slice of sourdough bread (buttered side facing out).

3. Grill the Sandwich:
- Place the sandwich in the preheated skillet. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on one side, or until golden brown and crispy. Carefully flip the sandwich and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes, ensuring the cheese melts and both sides are golden.

4. Serve:
- Once the sandwich is grilled to perfection, remove it from the skillet and let it cool for a minute. Cut it in half diagonally and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves if desired.
- Serve it with a side of extra chipotle aioli for dipping, and maybe a simple side salad or tomato soup for a complete meal.
