Found a Rabbit Hole: Just wait till the end this will blow your mind! Did you know there is a fungi that eats gama radiation, called black fungi and theres many different kinds. They found them at Chernoble. The oldest fungi fossil they found like this was from 5 million years ago. Thhe oldest fungi is about a billion years old. Fungi and many animals are found to have activated DNA defenses against radiation through descendants of the survived Chernoble event. How this is possible? Quantum biology which is basically the explanation of how something works exp: Same way as how plants utilize light to make energy. Except the black fungi have what are called Microtubulers which is critical part of the structure of fungi. Its facinating because microtubulers are also found in cancer patients and we obviously take drugs to kill those microtubulers. They found the same type of effect in other species wolf's, dogs, birds, and even the Eastern tree frog that altered the DNA and turn up the melanine therefore turning its skin black to defended against radiation.
