We enjoy being able to go into different communities and read to a diverse group of children. Many of the schools we visit for author readings are located in underprivileged and underserved communities, and being able to serve these families is something that means so much to us.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover the joy of reading, use their imagination, and see that books can open the door to amazing opportunities and endless possibilities. Through storytelling, we hope to help children strengthen their reading skills, build confidence, and feel inspired to dream bigger.

The world of books has the power to bring people together, teach kindness, celebrate diversity, and encourage children to embrace what makes them unique. That is the heart behind every story we create.

Our mission and passion is to help change the world one book at a time by promoting kindness, diversity, inclusion, self love, and acceptance through children’s literature.

This year and beyond, we plan to continue visiting more schools, libraries, youth clubs, and community programs to share our love of reading with children in all communities. We are grateful for every opportunity to connect with young readers and make a positive impact through books and storytelling.

HAPPY THURSDAY!!!

There is something truly magical about sitting down with a child and opening a book together. 📚

Books do more than teach our children how to read… they teach them how to love, how to be kind, how to understand others, and how to feel seen in a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

The stories we place in little hands matter. Stories about kindness. Stories that embrace our differences. Stories that teach safety, courage, empathy, and compassion. Stories that remind children they are valued exactly as they are.

It really does take a village to raise a child and children’s book authors are part of that village.

Read the silly books. Read the heartfelt books. Read the books that start important conversations. Read the books that make children laugh, think, and dream bigger.

Let’s keep reading to our kids. Let’s keep giving them stories that matter. ❤️

HOW TO PROTECT PAWS ON HOT PAVEMENT:

The American Veterinary Medical Association recommends testing the surface temperature of the surface where you intend to walk to check if it's safe to proceed.
A quick way to check the surface temperature of the ground is to place the back of your hand against it and hold it there for 7 seconds. If your struggle to keep your hand on the surface, then it's a sign that it's too hot for your dog's paws. If the surface feels hot to touch, it's a good idea to wait until outdoor temps cool down before taking your pup on a walk. Rule of thumb: if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your dog.
