Me to Rob: If you see a tarantula, don't hurt it. It's just looking for love.
Rob: Ok. I got it.
Me: If you see it somewhere in the yard, let it be. Or gently get the shovel and put it in the desert space in our neighborhood.
Rob: Will do.
Me: I mean...they're just looking for sweet love...

Arizona monsoons draw out wildlife that spend most of the year underground, such as tarantulas. You may find tarantulas wandering around after it rains. Monsoon season is mating season for them and mature male tarantulas go out searching for females. Don’t be alarmed if you run across a tarantula. These gentle giants are harmless to humans and are only interested in finding a mate. As with all wildlife, please keep your distance and admire them from afar.

Terribly sad news as The Grand Canyon Lodge on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon has been destroyed by wildfire. This is a historic lodge filled with great memories for so many people and families. We never had the opportunity to stay there, but we're wondering if you have? Did you travel to the Grand Canyon and stay at the lodge? What was it like? Your memories? - Rob and Joss in the Morning
