Liquid Nitrogen Release at Foundation Food Group: Our latest animation for the US Chemical Safety Board(USCSB) is live. ⬇️

⚠️ The incident claimed the lives of six employees after vaporized liquid nitrogen displaced oxygen in the surrounding area, including employees attempting to rescue their coworkers.

🎬 For this project, we used photorealistic 3D animation and integrated motion graphics to visualize the equipment and sequence of events, including the bent bubbler tube within the immersion freezer that failed to properly detect an overflow condition.

⚙️ This project is another example of how technical animation can help visualize complex industrial systems, hazards, and incident sequences that can otherwise be difficult to see or understand.

We’re proud to continue supporting the USCSB in its mission to communicate important lessons from industrial incidents and help prevent similar tragedies in the future.

Here's a look behind the scenes at an in-progress fluid simulation.

This particle simulation shows multiple liquids being mixed together within a mechanical process. Simulations like these help make complex operations easier to understand by visualizing processes that are often hidden inside equipment or difficult to observe directly.

Like any animation, fluid simulations require testing, refinement, and iteration before reaching the final result. It's all part of turning complex technical concepts into clear visual stories.

Didion Milling Dust Explosion: Our latest animation for the US Chemical Safety Board (USCSB) is live. ⬇️

How fast can a combustible dust hazard spread? In this industrial safety animation, we helped to break down the 2017 Didion Milling incident to highlight the critical danger of fugitive dust in refinery and milling environments.

By blending technical detail with stylized visuals, we’ve illustrated why vigilance is the industry's best defense. We are honored to support the USCSB’s mission to advance chemical process safety.

Our latest animation for the US Chemical Safety Board (USCSB) examines the tragic 2021 incident at the Yenkin-Majestic Paint Corporation plant. Set within a stylized city environment, the piece balances realism with visual clarity, allowing critical details to stand out. We approached this project with deep respect for those affected and a strong appreciation for the USCSB’s role in advancing chemical safety. Through this work, we hope to honor the lives impacted and underscore the importance of vigilance across the industry.
