I began piano at the age of 5 and continued lessons throughout college. I graduated from Methodist University in 2008 with a BA in Music. Throughout my college years I accompanied vocalist as well as instrumental and choral ensembles. I went on to become the Pianist and Children's Choir Director for Dickson First United Methodist Church in Dickson TN for the last 5 years. While living in Tennessee I had a piano studio of 14 children ranging from 5 years old to 60 years of age. My family has recently moved to Tucson and I hope to grow a successful piano studio once again. Sara offers piano lessons for all ages and skill sets here in Tucson and Vail, AZ

HOW MUCH DOES A LESSON COST?

I charge $20 for a 30 minute lesson. Longer lessons are available upon request and are usually intended for advanced or older students.

IS MY CHILD TOO YOUNG TO BEGIN LESSONS?

Kindergarten or first grade is a perfect age to begin music lessons. The child needs to be able to identify letters with minimal help before lessons begin.

I AM AN ADULT WHO HAS NO MUSICAL BACKGROUND, CAN I BE SUCCESSFUL AT THE PIANO?

YES! Learning a new skill as an adult can be frustrating, but it is by no means impossible. Take the time to try something new for yourself and have fun learning new things.

DO YOU OFFER ANY OTHER LESSONS OTHER THAN PIANO?

Yes. I also offer beginning guitar lessons. The student would need to have their own guitar that they bring with them to lessons.
