Today I tried Karichimaka Restaurant at 5252 S. Mission Rd. for the first time. I got the lunch special with a beef taco, rolled chicken taco and sour cream enchilada. My husband got the green chile plate. First I will say my chips and salsa were good, the chips were warm. Now to the grub it was solid. The food was flavorful, I liked the texture of the taco and rolled taco shells. I also liked the flavor of the red sauce. The beans and rice were hitting as well. My husband liked his food the only thing is that he wanted to have more of the green chile sauce on his plate . The guy I spoke to named Gene said the place has been there for 77 years!!! I’m like they must be doing something right. The cost was about $30. The service was good and I grabbed a handful of candies at the register on the way out😂😂 I would try other things down the line. #

I tried Shake Shack for the first time last week My food was good I got a burger fries and a boba drink. The burger was flavorful and the fries were fresh. The service was ok and the workers were polite. The ambiance was cool and contemporary. My biggest issue was the pricing and the long wait. That's what makes me give it 3 stars. If I wanted a double patty my tally would be $25 so I got a single to stay under$20 I ordered at the kiosk

I tried Ume Tea at 1800 E. Fort Lowell for the first time and I got the Creme Brûlée Thai Tea and it was AMAZING!!! Omg!!! One of the best things I’ve tried all year!!!! The service was really good and the ambiance was fantastic I loved the vibrant pink colors!!! A must try!! I spent around $7 I think oh I will be back!!!

I stopped by Oh My Chicken for the first time and I really liked it. I tried the teriyaki bowl and white peach juice drink. It was around $15 . The owner was cool service was great and the ambiance was standard. I would go back and try other things.
