Andrew and Zach first met in November of 2016 when collaborating on Deep Sleeper, the winning film at Campus Movie Fest at U of A. Andrew, an avid vlogger, dreams of exploring and documenting his first trip to New York City. Zach, a filmmaker, has recently been accepted to a program which grants him the opportunity to go to the Cannes Film Festival in 2017. Additionally, Andrew and Zach are passio

nate about food, and noticed a lack of healthy options on campus. They saw a problem with the average college student diet, and an opportunity with a huge market. Funding their respective trips while shifting the snack culture on campus; all in 50 days. Andrew and Zach soon became The Kale Guys. Thus, the Kale Wave Project was born. However, The Kale Guys have since shifted gears, focusing on longevity, not short term success. Therefore, The Kale Wave Project is vlog series documenting a local business, The Kale Guys, from it's inception, and the experiences throughout their journey. JOIN THE WAVE!
