This weekend, I had the privilege of going to Hollywood with Mark Headley, producer and director extraordinarre. I got to see some amazing things, which I’ve taken some photographs of for your viewing pleasure. One of those was visiting Musso & Frank’s, where I was bold enough to talk to . I was ushered away, of course, by an extremely empathetic but professional waiter, but it was worth it. Little did I know that Kevin Pollak would approach me at the bar and ask for a couple of photographs. But he did, and here they are—an extremely nice guy.

This is my 34th year around the globe. Typically it’s a time of happiness and joy, but lately that’s been muted into a time of gratefulness with smatterings of wistfulness. I’m not saying that I completely regret the way that my life has turned out. Getting the chance to be an uncle to my amazing niece and nephew (and another niece on the way) is definitely the highlight of all of this. But there are things in my life that I wish went a different way. The only thing I can say is that I’m grateful for five things: my colleagues, my family, my friends, my job, and waking up every day.
