Curb Dolls, the breakout band from Queens in 1990, is back for 1991, with a style merging grunge with flavors of hip-hop from an all-women power trio.
Jesse Vaughn, guitarist and singer brings power and force guided by bassist and singer Lena Blackwood, spinnin' to the rhythms of drummer Maya Wells.
Raised and fueled by the raw energy and seismic power of the home in Queens, New York, the trio had their first smaller hit last year, in the summer of 1990, with "Country Girl in Queens"
Who's There? is the first, and title song, to this EP released October 18. With their recent live performance on ToonzTV, the trio are likely on their way to a chart-topping album.
The five-song EP includes: Who's There?, Queens Proud, (Go, Go) GoGo Girl, Sisters on Fire, and a live version of Country Girl in Queens, recorded live at The 13th Floor Music Club in Richmond Hill.
"With their debut EP, Who's There?, Curb Dolls prove that Queens is a force to be reckoned with as grunge music grows in the 90's"
