Documentary feature CAPTURING KENNEDY, brought to you by@filmfesttucson and at the Marroney Theatre, University of Arizona Campus.

Capturing Kennedy shares the extraordinary untold story of Jacques Lowe, a Holocaust survivor and young immigrant who, at just 28, became the personal photographer to President John F. Kennedy. Through Lowe’s unique lens, Capturing Kennedy sheds light on one of the last untold chapters of the Kennedy Presidency and the young photographer whose images shaped it.

Calling all filmmakers: Crew Needed for London Film School Grad Documentary

LFS graduation film Everlasting Supper is heading to the high desert, and we’re looking for passionate collaborators to help us bring something unforgettable to life.

Set in Douglas, Arizona, home to the Last Supper Museum, the largest collection of Last Supper artworks in the world, our documentary explores one man’s lifelong obsession. As part of the film, we’re creating a one-of-a-kind live reenactment of the Last Supper — casting locals as the biblical disciples, staging the tableau outdoors in the stunning landscape of Portal, AZ.

When: Sunday, October 19th
Where: Portal, Arizona (Approx. 2hr 20min from Tucson – gas reimbursed)

We're seeking a few extra hands to complete our crew on the day:
Crowd AD
Grip
Camera Assistant
Costume Assistant
PA / Runner

This is a student-led project but supported by an experienced team of industry professionals.
Andrew Thomas (Procession, Q***r Eye) will lend his experienced hand as our Director of Photography.
Nevan Brothers (The Brutalist, Wolf Hall) joins us as Sound Recordist and Sound Designer.
Natalie Ruiz Davis (Somebody Feed Phil, My Happy Place, Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain) is our Lead Producer.
Jack Lloyd will serve as our London-based Co-producer, and
Elinor Kirchwey will bring her artistic eye to bear as Production Designer.

It’s a unique, hands-on chance to gain real set experience in a visually stunning and deeply unusual setting.

Who we’re looking for:
Film students, recent grads, or local pros who want to pitch in and be part of something beautifully strange.

Join us for a special night at the Marroney Theatre—this is a free event!

Be among the first to experience HOUSE OF ABRAHAM, a brand-new psychological thriller/horror film that just opened in June for a limited theatrical release. The screening will be followed by an exclusive after-party with live music from the incredible Hawthorne Experience at Bacio Italiano.

Directed by newcomer Lisa Belcher, who recently moved to Tucson, HOUSE OF ABRAHAM tells the story of a woman seeking an end to her suffering. She checks into the House of Abraham, home to a mysterious cult that promises a way out—but soon discovers all is not what it seems and must plan her escape before it’s too late.
