This cast was recently named for the sequel to THE RETURN, where John McKenna encounters cattle wranglers in the process of hanging an accused horse thief.
Congratulations to James Stewart, Audrey Ann Gambach, Peter Reese, José L. Rodriguez, Hanna Bustamante and Ivan Orellana.

Featuring an ensemble of film, commercial, and theatrical actors, the story of a life-and-death moment is slated for filming at Mescal Movie Set early this fall, for planned release late this year.

THE RETURN: Twisted Justice is set in 1883, but the conflict between cruelty and mercy resonates as strongly today with the original screenplay by Peter Reese.

In addition, cinematographer Rhett Cutrell brings global feature and documentary experience to what Woven Productions calls a 'fast feature'; a fully-imagined project with a running time under 30 minutes.

TUCSON CASTING CALL FOR DRAMA SHORT FILM " SILENCE OF WAVES"
CASTING FOR MULTIPLE CHARACTERS

Synopsis: Paloma, a reckless teenager living in Sasabe (Mexico) decides to cross the border illegally in search of her father, a migrant smuggler who has disappeared. But in the middle of the night, when she is intercepted by Bob, a retired border agent, Paloma will discover what she dreads most.

Launched by Grizzly Films, an independent film production company from Belgium,
"Silence of Waves" is a low-budget film that will be shot around Tucson, in collaboration with Monsoon Production Services.

🎬 FILMING DATES:
November 10-11-12-13-14
(Around Tucson. And also, for the two main characters: Sasabe, USA + Sasabe, Mexico)

What will be provided: Water/beverages, light snacks, and a great shooting experience
Compensation: Paid (half or full day - depends of the character)
NOTE: it's a non-union film.
