🚨 PSA: Teachers — Pre-K through 12th grade — and school support staff get FREE admission to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum this Saturday, Aug. 29 from 5-10 p.m.

Show your current school ID or a letter from your principal on letterhead that says you are a school employee. Regular admission is $24.95-$29.95.

Activities include the stingray touch, live music, a teacher vendor expo and a musical instrument petting zoo. The Desert Museum is located at 2021 N. Kinney Rd. 📍

It’s chaos, it’s cute, it’s UNHINGED 👀🤠🎡🌈 Girthy Gochu and Tucson Love Letter are hosting the So! Silly! market — a celebration of art that’s absurd, unserious, whimsy and maybe a teensy bit (or a lot a bit oops) explicit 🫣

✨ 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at the lovely Coalition Space, 311 E. 7th St. The majority of this market is INDOORS 😮‍💨 we love AC!!!!

✨We recommend this event for ages 18+ as some items may be explicit 🍆🍑

✨ 17 amazing art vendors, plus the coolest hot dogs on the planet and DELICIOUS coffee/drinks! Expect stickers, jewelry, baked goods, keychains, prints, apparel and more! 🌭👽🎈

✨ There will be two tattoo artists with the SILLIEST flash sheets 🫨🫨

✨ LIVE DOOOOODLE PORTRAITS AHHH

✨ Expect a donation drive supporting mutual-aid group ALMA!! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 They’re in need of shelf-stable snacks, ramen cup noodles, toilet paper, hand warmers, travel-size deodorant, travel-size shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, trash bags, plastic bags, reusable water bottles, socks (secondhand is okay!), gently-used tops, gently-used bottoms and chapstick. i did in fact go to Bamba on opening day when they had JUST SOLD OUT 😭 so it was my mission to visit today as soon as they opened and … dare i say this was the best lumpia i have ever had? 😮‍💨😮‍💨

📍 at Z-Street outside of Zemams, 2731 E. Broadway Blvd. there’s an outdoor seating area or you can eat inside Zerai’s! 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday!

Bring us your trinkets and take home new trinkets 🙂‍↕️✨ Darby Hunter Art, Desert Goth Club and Tucson Love Letter are setting up a new trinket trade box at Pop Cycle! The box will be a permanent fixture inside the store. If you’re unfamiliar, trinket trade boxes are like little free libraries, but for trinkets — bring a trinket, take a trinket!

To celebrate, we’re throwing a free trinket trade party down the street at the Coalition Space, 311 E. 7th St., from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23. Bring trinkets to trade with others! We’ll also have free crafts 🎨👀

After Aug. 23, the box will be available at Pop Cycle, 422 N. 4th Ave., for trinket trading 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily 🐚🗝️🎲
