The Silvers

The Silvers THE SILVERS have quite a track record. They have released four 14 song LPs, one 11 song LP and four 6-8 song EPs. It is tentatively entitled “Oceans”.

The Silvers are Dain Bedford-Pugh (guitar, songwriting and vocals), Carl Upthegrove (drums, percussion and songwriting) and Mick Orton (bass, keyboards, songwriting and vocals). And as of August 2022 they are working on a new 11 song LP called "Oceans" scheduled for release in September 2022. ocals) are about release a sixth LP with 11 original songs, 9 written by Tom Kelley and Mick and two by Dain. The cartoon Silvers are about to be unstuck from Silvers Surf City in several new animated videos! (Search Silvers Surf City on YouTube.) THERE ARE EXCITING THINGS TO COME! Friends, What’s new with The Silvers? With Mick in his Show Low, Arizona studio, he has been working on some new material for the upcoming recording session. Right now it looks like early 2026. We had planned an early-mid December session, but Mick will be away on a European Christmas cruise until December 14th. However, he gave himself an early Christmas present… or two… A new ’64 model of the Hofner, 500-1 (from Musician’s Friend) was the first and then a new Yamaha FG820 (from Sweetwater)....

Dain Says, “My summer started a little early back in April - I went for a visit to my home country (the UK, in case you didn't realise that I'm a Brit!) and the weather was uncharacteristically gorgeous! The SILVERS - 2020

As we move into 2020 THE SILVERS have quite a track record. They have released four 14 song LPs and four 6-8 song EPs so far.

New members Steve Farac (guitar, keyboards and vocals), Dain Bedford-Pugh (guitar and vocals), Carl Upthegrove (drums) along with Mick Orton (bass and vocals) are about to go into the studio to record a fifth LP with 14 original songs all written by Tom Kelley and Mick. It is tentatively entitled “Back To Basics” and is scheduled for release in 2020.

While the four cartoon Silvers are still stuck in Surf City (search Silvers Surf City on YouTube), the LIVE band is preparing a show with songs chosen as favorites from their recorded material along with some well-known cover songs to make sure this set will be really special and memorable!

"Watch Me Now” is the latest single and the closing track on the latest LP, "RUSHMORE". It is getting great reviews from listeners.
