The fact that authorities are now giving a 24-48 hour timeline suggests they believe they're on the verge of a major breakthrough. This could be the most significant development since Nancy vanished from her Tucson home on January 31st.

Nancy disappeared after a masked suspect was caught on doorbell camera tampering with her security system. Blood was found on her porch, leading investigators to believe this was a kidnapping.

Following this case closely. What are your thoughts on these developments?

‼️Update: FBI seizes Range Rover near Nancy Guthrie’s home

FBI and local officers seized a gray Range Rover in a Culver’s parking lot about two miles from Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson home late Friday.

Video shows officers covering the trunk, photographing and searching the vehicle before it was towed.

- One person detained during the stop was later released after an interview; a separate SWAT raid detained three people who were also released after interviews.

- Pima County Sheriff’s Dept. said the activity was related to the Guthrie investigation but, at the FBI’s request, no further details were released.

- Investigators previously recovered unidentified DNA from Guthrie’s property that was sent to a lab; the FBI also released a description of an armed person on her door camera and doubled the reward to $100,000.

The SUV was seized in a Culver’s Restaurant parking lot about two miles from Guthrie’s home and then towed after searches. Officers erected a sheet around the trunk during the search.

🚨Police statements: Pima County Sheriff posted that law‑enforcement activity was underway and noted the joint investigation. At the FBI’s request, officials said they could not release additional information.

Several people were detained at a residence not far from Nancy’s home in connection with the suspect that was later detained in the Culvar’s parking lot. They were all later released after interviews.

Could this seizure link to the unidentified DNA that was recently recovered from the property?

🚨 UPDATE: Nancy Guthrie Case (Day 11) - Person of Interest Questioned & Released

The Pima County Sheriff's Department and the FBI executed a court-authorized search at a home in Rio Rico, Arizona — a small community about an hour south of Tucson near the U.S.-Mexico border. The search lasted several hours before investigators cleared the scene.

A man at the residence identified himself to Fox News as Carlos Palazuelos. He says he was the individual pulled over during a traffic stop and detained for questioning, but has since been released. Palazuelos claims he works in Tucson delivering packages and denies any involvement in Nancy's disappearance. He told reporters it was a "possibility" he may have delivered a package to Guthrie's home.

He also stated that law enforcement showed one of his in-laws a photo of the masked individual seen in surveillance footage on Nancy's property — and that it "supposedly looked like my eyes."

Earlier this week, investigators released surveillance clips showing a masked person with a backpack and what appeared to be a handgun holster outside Nancy's home the night she vanished. The individual was seen tilting away from a doorbell camera, holding a flashlight in their mouth, and attempting to cover the lens with a gloved hand.

Nancy was last seen at her home on January 31st and reported missing the following day. Blood found on her porch has been confirmed as hers through DNA testing. Investigators continue to classify this as an abduction.

The FBI has launched billboard campaigns in several major cities seeking tips. If you have ANY information, please contact investigators immediately.

‼️ FBI RELEASES FOOTAGE IN NANCY GUTHRIE CASE
The FBI just released surveillance footage of the person they believe took Nancy Guthrie — and this is a BIG deal.

It is now day 10 since Nancy Guthrie disappeared, believed to be taken from her home and the FBI with help from Google, makers of the nest doorbell camera, were able to recover footage from Nancy's home security cameras, cameras that had been tampered with.

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed the video was pulled from residual data in backend systems after the recording devices were removed.

The footage shows a masked, armed individual carrying a backpack approaching Nancy's front door in the early morning hours of February 1st, the morning she disappeared. The person is seen tampering with the front door camera.

On top of that — blood droplets confirmed to be Nancy's were found trailing from her front porch to the edge of the driveway, giving hope that DNA samples could be recovered for a potential suspect.

And now, investigators are reportedly swabbing her landscaper, pool cleaner, and other hired help for DNA — which likely means they got DNA results back from inside the home and are working to eliminate or identify people.

📍 The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward. If you recognize this person — contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or 88-CRIME.

Nancy Guthrie Case - Day 9 Update
As of tonight, there are unfortunately still no major new developments in Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. The reported ransom deadline has come and gone with no word of an arrest, rescue, or confirmed communication from verified kidnappers.

Nancy’s daughter, Savannah Guthrie, released another emotional video today calling this an “hour of desperation” and asking the public everywhere to stay alert and report anything that could help bring her mom home.

This is truly heartbreaking for the family. If you’re in the area and see or hear something that feels off, please contact local authorities. There is still a $50,000 reward for information in the case.

‼️ 📍 NEW UPDATE: Nancy Guthrie (84) — Tucson, AZ (Day 7)
Investigators are back at Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson home today — this time focusing on a manhole or underground access point on or near the property.

Officers are treating the area as a potential evidence site tied to Nancy’s disappearance — not routine city work. Sources on scene say it’s being handled as part of a forensic search, similar to what we saw earlier this week when police towed a vehicle and removed a wired device from the roof.

These searches have all centered around the home’s perimeter — especially spots where investigators previously documented traces of blood.

As of now, police haven’t said what, if anything, they’ve found in or near that manhole, and they haven’t indicated whether it changes the direction of this case.

We’ll keep tracking this one as it develops. If you’re following the timeline, mark this as a new step in the evidence collection phase — not confirmation of a breakthrough just yet.

What do you think — What does this renewed focus around the home suggest to you?

‼️ Update in the Nancy Guthrie case:
On the evening of February 6th investigators were seen towing away a dark-colored SUV from the driveway of Nancy Guthrie’s home.

The vehicle has been described as a blue Subaru-type SUV that had been seen parked in the garage earlier in the week; it’s widely believed to be a Guthrie family vehicle, possibly Nancy’s, but police have not publicly confirmed the registered owner.

Law enforcement and FBI were already on scene doing another intensive sweep of the house. Officers were also seen removing a wired device reported to be a camera from the roof of the home after receiving a tip from a neighbor.

Officials have kept quiet on many details in the case and have repeatedly stressed they are “actively looking at everybody” tied to the case and that nobody has been ruled out, but they have not named any suspects.
