Lebanon’s 70-year-old stadium needs a full rebuild, and they’re currently sitting in second place.

Portland City Council hears from small business. The city of Portland is negligent and protecting its property and business owners. Portland now ranks 80th out of 81 major U.S. cities for business conditions — nearly dead last.

Every time local politicians gaslight you about how “Portland is fine,” they should have to watch these dozen or so business owners speak emotionally this Wednesday at city council about what they are exposed to just trying to keep their businesses open. Worth 13 min of your time

Coming your way Metro is proposing a vehicle mileage tax (VMT) to include installing tracking software on your automobile, they are calling it VMT. It was proposed yesterday at Gerritt Rosenthal an elected metro council representative. This is another avenue for ODOT and their bloated bureaucracy after the tolls were paused by the governor after our grass roots effort to stop statewide tolls started on I-205.

Correction Metro hired 889 positions this year!

Interesting to note metro gets 10% of the proceeds from pass through measures they initiate ans collect. The vote is May 2nd, and we are going to be launching a campaign so you can make your voice heard and get the word out to your network. Without our push Metro will approve a full time position for a consultant to come up with a plan for the VMT starting in the portland metro. Also of note they created over 200 new positions in the last year, growing their bureaucracy with your money that they plan to use against you. We encourage you to stay tuned here as we embark on a grass roots campaign to fight back with our voices, testimony and emails. Together we can cancel the vehicle mileage tracking plans dead in its tracks.

There was a fire near a power station on South Corbett and Naito Parkway today just before 2:45 PM. Our follower waited on hold on 911 for nearly 13 minutes to report the fire. Our essential services in this city seem sluggish. Why do you think that is, and what would you do about it if you were the new mayor or city council? Tell us in the comments.
