On May 26, 2026 Coffee County Mayor Dennis Hunt will present to the Coffee County Regional Planning Commission a proposed 180 day moratorium on all data center reviews. This moratorium proposal will then be presented to Coffee County’s Legislative Body at their June 9, 2026 meeting, regardless of the Planning Commission's recommendation. The rural residents of Coffee County have legitimate concerns regarding data centers. The prerequisites and specific minimum requirements for data centers in these areas should be reviewed and implemented. Any proposed changes recommended by the Planning Commission to our zoning resolution will then need to be voted on by the County Legislative Body. Recent publicity regarding these large scale data centers have left us with more questions than answers.

Six years ago today, Tullamama became a mama. 🤍

And whew… what a wild way to start motherhood. Going from 0 to 2 babies in the middle of a pandemic felt a little bit like being handed the keys to a manual car I absolutely did not know how to drive. 😂

I look back now at that first-time mom version of me with so much grace. She was learning, stretching, surviving on prayers and cold coffee, trying so hard to do everything “right.” And somewhere along the way, motherhood softened me, strengthened me, humbled me, and matured me in the sweetest ways.

Motherhood has been the sweetest sacrifice. The loudest, messiest, holiest kind of love.

There’s truly nowhere else I’d rather be and nothing more important or lovely I could spend my life doing than raising these babies.

And one day, when I’m an old Granny Smith sitting in a quiet house, I know I’ll miss the noise and chaos with my whole heart. But I’ll also know I soaked up every second I possibly could… and somehow it still won’t feel like enough.

Today I’m just thanking God for the greatest gift He’s ever given me: motherhood. 🤍

Honest answer to “where should we go today?” — Tims Ford Nature Center. 🐢
We love this place because it’s the kind of stop where the kids are learning without realizing it. Live turtles, snakes, and fish in real exhibits. Free ranger programs and hands-on crafts running Thursday through Monday. The rangers are genuinely great with kids.
Then walk right next door to Lost Creek Overlook Trail — easy enough for littles, short enough to actually finish, and that bridge is going to end up in your camera roll. 📸
Pack a picnic and make a whole day of it. Seriously — bring your people, find a spot outside, and just let the kids run. This is the kind of place that’s even better when you do it with friends.
Whether you’re filling a homeschool field trip day or just need somewhere to take the kids that isn’t the living room — this one delivers.
