What a gutty performance by former Oklahoma State Cowboy Golfer Wyndham Clark. And yes, he is very much a part of the OSU family despite his wild ups and downs in his four years there under Mike McGraw and Alan Bratton, during which his mother died of cancer. He left for Oregon in 2016 still immature and mercurial in a lot of ways and he was still subject to fits of rage through 2025 as he showed at Oakmont. But he's growing and to win with everyone actively cheering for you to screw up with the quality of short game shots he pulled off time after time, just wow. Side note, he will likely be the only collegiate golfer to play for three head coaches who won national championships in McGraw, Bratton and Oregon's Casey Martin.
