🤝Meet Francisco Treviño!

Francisco J. Treviño was born in Monterrey, México and moved with his family to Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 11—a city he’s proudly called home ever since. A self-taught guitarist and singer-songwriter, Francisco fuses classic rock with the rich folk traditions of his Mexican roots, a unique blend that shaped his debut children’s music LP, recorded in Veracruz in 1994.

A passionate advocate for Hispanic arts and culture, Francisco spent a decade teaching through the Arts and Humanities Council’s Artist in the Schools program. In 1998, he revitalized Tulsa’s Hispanic Festival, creating a vibrant platform to celebrate local talent and cultural heritage.

From 2007 to 2017, Francisco served as co-founder and Executive Director of the Greater Tulsa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. During his tenure, he expanded membership, forged lasting corporate and community partnerships, and launched key initiatives like HYPE (Hispanic Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs) and the Hispanic Leadership Institute. His leadership earned the Chamber national recognition as “Best Small Hispanic Chamber – Region 4” by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Today, Francisco continues his lifelong mission as president of Casa de la Cultura, advancing Latino arts, culture, and community in Tulsa.

In addition to his work in the arts and nonprofit sectors, Francisco became a licensed real estate agent to further serve Tulsa’s Latino community. Witnessing the challenges immigrant families often face in the home-buying process, he set out to be a trusted, bilingual resource. For Francisco, real estate is more than transactions—it’s about helping families achieve stability, build generational wealth, and feel a true sense of belonging.

💫Let us introduce you to Yazmin Vazquez, or simply Yaz!

Originating from Guerrero, Mexico, Yaz moved to Miami, Florida at the age of 5, when her parents made the decision to settle permanently in this country.

By 15, Yaz was already juggling part-time work at an Asian restaurant—packing orders and stepping up as a translator for family real estate transactions. This experience gave her a unique behind-the-scenes look at both sides of the table, shaping her entrepreneurial spirit.

Yaz’s passion for real estate started at a young age. Her parents and brother introduced her to flipping, sparking her early love for the industry.

In 2008, Yaz and her family moved to Tulsa, where they’ve put down roots, although Miami and its memories remain close to her heart. A devoted mother of three daughters—now 19, 18, and 13—Yaz has embraced the role of both mom and dad, showing her girls the value of hard work and resilience. As the youngest of eight siblings, she knows a thing or two about family and the joy that comes with being surrounded by love and laughter.

When she’s not spending time with her girls, Yaz loves being outdoors—whether she’s soaking up the sun, relaxing at the beach, traveling, crushing a HIIT workout, or enjoying her passion for cooking.
