Great Plains Journalism Awards

The Tulsa Press Club restructured in 2023. Because of that change, the Great Plains Journalism Awards cannot take place in 2024.

The board of directors and contest committee are committed to bringing the contest back in 2025. We appreciate the news organizations that have entered each year and will work to offer a contest next year that continues our tradition of promoting the highest standards of journalism.

WHAT: Badges & BBQ is the premiere fundraiser for Tulsa Crime Stoppers. This year’s event features all-you-can-eat BBQ from nine teams, local beer, wine, & musical entertainment by Jacob Tovar.

WHEN: The event is this Saturday, Sept. 23, from 6-9pm.
