TWO TEENS SHOOT EACH OTHER IN PARKING LOT GUNFIGHT

Two teenagers are recovering after a 16-year-old attempted to rob a 17-year-old at gunpoint, leading to an exchange of gunfire that left both injured.

On May 27, 2026, around 7:54 p.m., Tulsa Police Officers responded to reports of a shooting victim outside the Five Below near 71st and Memorial. Officers arrived to find a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

About 20 minutes later, dispatch received a second call regarding a 16-year-old shooting victim at a home near 33rd and 138th East Ave. The caller stated the teen had just arrived after being shot in the wrist at a different location. He was also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators quickly connected the two incidents. Officers learned that the 16-year-old had approached the 17-year-old in the parking lot of the 89 East apartments at 7200 S. 89th East Ave.

The suspect demanded that the victim hand over everything he had. In response, the 17-year-old pulled his own pistol, and the two exchanged gunfire before fleeing the scene. The victim drove to the nearby Five Below for help, while the suspect got a ride back to his house.

Once released from the hospital, the 16-year-old suspect will be booked into the Community Intervention Center on charges of Armed Robbery and Shooting with Intent to Kill.

Update: TPD has released the name of the victim as 25 year old Kenneth McVay. Authorities have also arrested Dominic Marshall. Security footage showed Marshall firing multiple rounds at McVay.

05-26-2026...Homicide at Seminole Hills Apartments at North Rockford Ave and East Seminole Street. Around 2AM, reports came in to 911 of a man that was found on the sidewalk and appeared to have been shot. When first responders arrived on scene, they did find the man and confirmed that he had been shot. Unfortunately, he was declared deceased. TPD quickly taped off the area and began knocking on doors attempting to make contact with any of the neighbors that might have seen what happened. Detectives later arrived and are investigating the situation. Currently there are no suspects, but we are being told by detectives that there might possibly be multiple shooters. This is still a very active investigation and more information will emerge as it becomes available. This is Tulsa's 20th homicide of the year.

05-25-2026... Vehicle on fire near North Yale Ave & East 36th Street North. Tulsa Fire Department arrived on scene to find an SUV on fire. There were no occupants in or near the vehicle despite original reports from the 911 caller who thought there might be someone in the vehicle. Fire crews were able to knock the fire down and then turned the scene over to fire investigators to determine the cause of the fire.

05-23-2026... Motor Vehicle Accident near East Newton Street & North 73rd East Ave. Truck crashed through a fence then crashed into a tree. The driver fled the scene before first responders arrived. TPD was still searching for the suspect whenever we left the scene.

05-23-2026... Motor Vehicle Accident involving a motorcycle near East 23rd Street & South Memorial Drive. The motorcyclist was being checked out by EMSA whenever we left the scene. No others were injured.

05-23-2026... Motor Vehicle Accident near East 41st Street and South 106th East Ave on the Southbound on ramp to Hwy 169. No serious injuries.

05-22-2026... Motor Vehicle Accident at East Oklahoma Street & North Lewis Ave. No injuries.

05-22-2026... Shooting in North Tulsa near East 46th Street North & North Rockford Ave. First responders arrived on scene and found a male victim with a gunshot wound. He was transported by EMSA to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries. Police tell us it's possible there were multiple shooters. The suspect(s) left then scene before police arrived. This is still an ongoing investigation at this time.

05-20-2026... Osage County with the assistance of OHP pursued a Ford Expedition that left the scene of a motor vehicle accident. The pursuit ended in Tulsa County near East 4th Street & South Harvard Ave where the suspect was taken into custody.
