09-28-2026... Vehicle on fire on the Broken Arrow Expressway Eastbound near South 73rd East Ave. Multiple calls came into 911 about a black Mustang on fire on the shoulder of the Broken Arrow Expressway in the Eastbound lanes. Smoke could be seen from miles away. Multiple fire stations responded and worked together to quickly extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown to us at this time.

09-28-2026... Mustang on fire on the Broken Arrow Expressway near the I-44 junction in the eastbound lanes. Traffic has slowed due to the fire but the expressway is still open.

09-28-2026... Motor Vehicle Accident near East 89th Street & South Memorial Drive. A female driver of the white vehicle was transported by EMSA to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

2 PEOPLE SHOT DOWNTOWN

Tulsa Police Officers are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in downtown Tulsa, leaving two people injured.

On 9/27/2026, at approximately 12:54 a.m., Officers responded to a shots-fired call in a parking lot near 10 N. Greenwood Ave.

According to witnesses and victims, a fistfight broke out in the parking lot when someone yelled "gun," and multiple shots were fired. The crowd quickly dispersed, and there were no victims at the scene.

About an hour after the shooting, two male victims, a 34-year-old male and a 22-year-old male, arrived at separate local hospitals with gunshot wounds to their legs and lower bodies. Both victims confirmed they were shot during the incident in the Greenwood parking lot but could not provide identifying information on the shooter.

Detectives and Officers canvassed the area, collecting evidence including .40 caliber shell casings and discarded clothing. We are currently reviewing security camera footage from nearby properties.

09-28-2026... Pursuit involving TPD and OHP that initiated after a traffic stop on 71st near Olympia. A silver Nissan was stopped by TPD due to speeding. While the driver of that vehicle stepped out with TPD, a supposed "unknown" passenger that the driver was taking home from the casino, jumped in the driver seat of the Nissan and took off from the traffic stop leading TPD on a pursuit and OHP was requested to assist. The driver of the Nissan made his way to Highway 75 over to I-44 eastbound, eventually ending at an apartment complex near E 32nd Street and S 103rd E Ave where the suspect backed the vehicle in a parking spot and had someone waiting to let him inside the complex. All of this unfolded with the TPD helicopter above. The owner of the Nissan was brought back to his vehicle by an officer where he regained possession. He claims that he doesn't know who his passenger was. TPD was unable to apprehend the suspect, but they are working to find out who he is and an out of custody warrant will be issued for his arrest for taking the vehicle and eluding officers.

09-27-2026... Stabbing near South 41st West Ave & West 4th Street just before midnight. A male victim was stabbed after coming to the aide of a female victim who was being assaulted by another male. The male victim was transported to a nearby hospital in an unknown condition. The male suspect George Medeiros was transported to jail and booked on a charge of assault & battery with a deadly weapon. The status of the female victim is unknown.

09-27-2026... Motor Vehicle Accident near East 71st Street & South 109th East Ave. A female driver was transported by EMSA to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries. No other reported injuries.

09-27-2026…. Residential fire with a deceased person found inside near E Admiral Pl and S 106th E Pl around 12:42 PM. Reports came in to 911 about a fire coming from the back of a house and starting to spread to the roof. Multiple stations responded to the address and worked together to get the fire knocked down. While search and rescue was underway, a male victim was found to be deceased inside the residence. The Tulsa Police Department was dispatched to the scene as well as fire investigators to determine the cause of the fire and investigate if there was any foul play. We were told by TPD that a male victim was found inside and they originally treated the scene as if foul play was present. Upon further investigation, foul play was likely going to be rulled out but that could not be confirmed until the investigation was completed by the Medical Examiners office and TFD investigators. TFD investigators utilized their K9 to assist with the investigation to help detect the use of any accelerants. As of now, it is unknown to us what started the fire and this is still an active investigation.

09-27-2026... Shout out to Broken Arrow Police Department (BAPD) for assisting a motorist at South 177th East Ave & East Albany Street in Broken Arrow. BAPD was seen pushing a disabled vehicle to the Maverick Gas Station yesterday afternoon. 💪
