Meet Dora — a precious 6-year-old spayed beauty who should be curled up on someone’s couch… not sitting in a shelter at six years old 😢💔🐾 We suspect she was someone’s baby before- but now, here she is 😭

This lovely lady came in as a stray, and while she was a little unsure at first, she quickly showed her true, gentle heart 💕

💔 HER OWNER DIED… AND THIS SENIOR GIRL LOST HER ENTIRE WORLD 🌍😭 You can literally see the pain in her eyes 🥺

8 years old • 61 lbs • Spayed
At the shelter since 11/12

One look into her eyes and you can feel the weight of her sadness.
Those soft, gray hairs on her face.
The heaviness in her expression.
The way she looks at you like she’s searching for the person she once belonged to. 😔💛

Sophia is a spayed female, yellow and white Labrador Retriever mix. She is estimated to be about 8 years old and weighs approximately 60 pounds.

Sophia’s story is the kind that shatters your heart. When her owner passed away, this senior girl didn’t just lose her home — she lost her person, her routine, her comfort, her entire sense of safety. And now she sits in a loud, overcrowded shelter… grieving, confused, and trying to understand what happened to the life she had. 💔🥺

Outside her kennel, she tries so hard to be brave. With quiet reassurance, she warms up little by little. She walked perfectly on a leash and stayed close, as if hoping someone might finally be the one to guide her toward comfort again.

It’s almost unbearable to imagine:
Losing your person.
Losing your home.
And ending up in an unfamiliar place at 8 years old, surrounded by noise and fear.

Sophia doesn’t need much… just a calm home, a soft bed, and someone patient and kind enough to remind her she still matters. She deserves to spend her senior years wrapped in love, not heartbreak. 💔💛

📣 MEET MACARONI DAVE (A177973) — your new adventure buddy!
1 year old • Neutered • 51 lbs • Arrived 11/9

Macaroni Dave is a bundle of joyful heeler energy and truly the happiest guy ever. He was a fetching machine today — sprinting after toys, rolling around in the grass, and soaking up every second of outside time. 🌿🎾

• Very dog friendly — had an accidental off-leash run-in and all he wanted to do was play 🐶💛

A178340 | 3 Years Old | Owner Surrender 😭😭
SMALL DOG ALERT — only ~22 lbs! 💕

This precious girl just tugs on your heartstrings the moment you meet her. You can see the confusion in her eyes — she doesn’t understand why she’s suddenly in a loud shelter instead of home with her humans. 💔🥺

Brownie is terrified and timid right now, but oh my gosh… she is SO sweet. In just a short time outside, she slowly started to warm up. When she was tucked in her kennel with a blanket, she curled right up like she was finally safe. 😭💕

🐾 Tail tucked the whole time — this girl is heartbroken
🐾 Grateful for every bit of kindness
