OK. So if you may not have known, about 5 years ago Hollywood came to town needing some comic books for a few scenes in a movie filmed in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area. The movie is called POSSESSIONS and the company is co-founded and owned by Yeardley Smith (voice of Lisa Simpson of THE SIMPSONS) and she also stars in the film.
The movie was finally released late 2024 and can be rented or bought on Prime Video. Johnnie and I watched it the other night. It's not a blockbuster by any means, but Equinox Comics was given generous screen time in the 1st half of the movie. Equinox Comics is now officially in movie lore.
If you're so inclined and want to watch it, please do and let us know what you think. Hopefully in the near future it will be free to watch, so until then you would have to rent or buy it. I didn't even know it was released until I accidentally saw it on IMDb.
Anyway, this is super cool and maybe the beginning of something more.
